Recently had a major roach infestation in my home and extensively looked into both heat and chemical options - from what I learned, heat treatment performs amazingly because it reaches that critical heat level for 6 to 8 hours and eliminates eggs too while reaching deep harborage areas where they nest, plus heat treatment single application usually does the job versus several chemical applications with crack and crevice spray cockroaches, though chemical pest control methods could save money upfront since heat treatment cost per square foot is higher but rarely requires follow-ups while chemical programs need ongoing visits accumulates, and in my experience for heavy roach problems issues I'd go with whole structure heat treatment cockroaches
